Bitdeer Technologies Group has announced its expansion plans, with a focus on its AI Cloud and high-performance computing business. The company plans to deliver 901 MW of capacity by Q2 2027, with a target of delivering up to 350 MW of AI Cloud capacity by Q1 2028.Capacity Commitments
The company has secured off-take commitments for its A201 data center in Johor Bahru, which carries roughly 21.7 MW of IT capacity. Bitdeer has also secured agreements for the A202 and A102 sites, which will add 65.1 MW and 9.5 MW of capacity, respectively.Revenue Projections
The company anticipates the contracted capacity will generate more than $1.7 billion in revenue over five years. Bitdeer has also positioned itself as a preferred NVIDIA Cloud Partner, with recent announcements bringing its secured capacity to approximately 333.5 MW.Financing Model
The 350 MW plan is being financed largely through customer prepayments and contractual financing, which means clients are effectively helping pay for the buildings they will use.
