Ripple and Stripe Partner to Bring Crypto Wallets to XRPL Blockchain

Introduction

Privy, a Stripe-owned company, has partnered with Ripple to bring its cryptocurrency wallet infrastructure to the XRPL blockchain. This partnership aims to make it easier for developers to build payments and agentic experiences on XRPL.

Benefits for Developers

With Privy, developers will be able to create and manage XRPL wallets programmatically; sign transactions; build experiences using XRP, RLUSD, and other digital assets on XRPL; and enable x402 payments for agentic commerce.

Deepening the Integration

Ripple and Privy plan to deepen the integration to include policy controls and gas sponsorship. This will enable developers to build financial products that can scale on XRPL.
