Samsung has announced plans to introduce USDC transfers to its Samsung Wallet payment app for eligible US Galaxy users in the last week of October. Technical Partnerships

Samsung has partnered with Bastion to provide stablecoin account and payment infrastructure, while Coinbase serves as a sub-custodian through Coinbase Prime Vault. Solana and Sui are also named as technical partners in this initiative.

Availability and Fees

The feature will be available on 82 million compatible Galaxy devices in the US. However, users must complete identity verification to access the service. There will be no fees for transfers to external crypto wallets, but international bank transfers will incur fees.
