BitMine Is About to Stop Buying Ethereum: What Happens to ETH Price Then?

BitMine will stop buying Ethereum at 5% of supply. Here is how its buying lined up with ETH price moves since 2025.

Our Summary:BitMine, the largest Ethereum holder, will stop buying once it reaches 5% of total supply, with approximately 100,000 ETH remaining to achieve this goal. This move may signal a shift in Ethereum's price, as BitMine's buying activity has historically driven up the price. Which Cryptocurrency Is Most Likely to 10x by 2030: Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP, or Solana?

A 10x gain sounds the same for every coin, but the math behind reaching it differs by trillions of dollars. Before putting money on your favorite cryptocurrency, see which one actually has the most realistic shot at hitting that milestone before 2030.

Our Summary:A 10x gain in cryptocurrency value is achievable only if a coin's market cap increases by trillions of dollars. Solana has the smallest target of $700B, making it the most likely to 10x by 2030, while Bitcoin's $16.9T target is the least likely due to its cap of 21M coins. Ethereum's fee-burning mechanism and Solana's expanding token supplies may favor long-term price growth.

Ether is about to lose a steady buyer as Tom Lee says Bitmine will stop token purchases

Tom Lee said Bitmine will be “done stacking” once it owns 5% of ETH, setting an end date to an accumulation streak that began in mid-2025 and made the company the world's largest Ethereum treasury.

Crypto ‘Godfather’ Gets 78 Months For $37M Meta Fraud Scheme

TL;DR Adam Iza, who called himself “The Godfather,” has been sentenced to 78 months in federal prison. Prosecutors said he stole more than $37 million from Meta through fraud involving access to business-manager accounts and credit lines. The court also ordered more than $23.4 million in restitution; Meta was a victim of the scheme, not a participant in it. A federal judge has sentenced self-proclaimed crypto entrepreneur Adam Iza to 78 months in prison, closing another chapter in a case that combined digital-asset wealth, fraud and abuse of law-enforcement connections. The Justice Department said Iza stole more than $37 million from Meta Platforms and used off-duty sheriff’s deputies to intimidate people he viewed as rivals or threats. The Fraud Was Bigger Than A Crypto Trading Case Iza pleaded guilty to conspiracy against rights, wire fraud and tax evasion. According to prosecutors, he fraudulently gained access to Meta business-manager accounts and lines of credit, using that access to steal tens of millions of dollars. The case also involved former Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies who were paid to carry out illegal searches and other acts on Iza’s behalf. That makes the sentencing more serious than the familiar pattern of a crypto promoter exaggerating returns or misusing investor money. The wrongdoing extended into civil-rights violations and the corruption of people who had law-enforcement authority. The Court Ordered More Than $23M In Restitution U.S. District Judge Percy Anderson sentenced Iza to 78 months in prison and ordered him to pay $23,402,766 in restitution. The $37 million figure refers to the amount prosecutors said was stolen from Meta. The restitution order is lower, so the two numbers should not be conflated. Meta itself had no role in the scheme beyond being a victim whose systems and credit facilities were exploited. The crypto angle matters because Iza had cultivated the image of a wealthy digital-asset figure and used that image as part of his public persona. But the conviction and sentence are ultimately about ordinary federal crimes carried out with extraordinary resources. The case is a reminder that crypto wealth does not create a separate legal category. Fraud, tax evasion and civil-rights violations remain prosecutable whether the money came from tokens, trading or any other source. This article was written by the News Desk and edited by Samuel Rae.

Our Summary:Adam Iza, a self-proclaimed crypto entrepreneur, has been sentenced to 78 months in prison for stealing over $37 million from Meta through a complex scheme involving business-manager accounts and credit lines. The case highlights the seriousness of fraud and abuse of law-enforcement connections in the crypto space.
